Early on in my formative years, as a pre-teen. My father, a Psychiatric physician diagnosed me with LOW LATENT INHIBITION (LLI)

In simple terms; People with LLI aren’t able to maintain focus for long spells and are thus easily distracted.

For me, my father noticed my mind always needed to be busy and I kept track of minute and irrelevant details. (things everyone else would see and ignore or forget).

When a person has a low IQ combined with LLC, what you get is mental illness. However, when an individual has a high IQ and a low latent inhibition, a genius is what you get. (watch the video below to understand more)
